Student and Partner Educator Testimonials

What People Have to Say about LiteratureDiversified...

"LiteratureDiversified has transformed the engagement in my classroom amongst minority students. Many of my Hispanic, African-American, and Asian students now relate to our course materials in ways they did not before. Students who once showed little interest in course readings now stay after class to grapple with complex ideas and thoughts that stem from the perspectives of people who they identify with."

- Anna Y. English Teacher, Partner Educator with LiteratureDiversified

"As a first generation American whose parents were immigrants, I empathize with my students who feel misrepresented by the materials they read in class. LiteratureDiversified's resources have helped me develop a more inclusive classroom for my students, specifically through their webinars, diverse novel lists, and curated lesson plans."

- Martin O. AP Government and Macroeconomics Teacher, Partner Educator with LiteratureDiversified

"LiteratureDiversified has developed a platform for underrepresented students to feel like they have a voice. Through publishing my essay in Stories of Our Youth, I feel empowered to continue sharing my story, knowing others around me face the same struggles I do."

- Gavrielle K. High School Student
